Welcome to Mr. Vincent Giard and Mrs. Manon Bertrand.

Vincent Giard holds a bachelor of science in Agrology from the Macdonald Campus of McGill University. He completed a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from HEC Montreal, in Finance and Marketing. He holds the title of Certified Corporate Director – Administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC), from the Collège des Administrateurs de Sociétés.
Recently retired, he has over 33 years of corporate finance experience, related to the agriculture and agri-food value chain. During his career with a major Canadian Crown corporation, he has held positions of increasing responsibility and a variety of executive positions, including a decade as Vice-President, Quebec operations, three years as Vice-President, Quebec and Eastern Ontario operations and one year as Vice-President, Credit Risk Management. He is known for his leadership, business acumen, emotional intelligence, communication and business development skills.
He is particularly interested in economic issues related to the agriculture and agri-food value chain, the strategic positioning of companies in their market as well as leadership and corporate culture issues.
Manon Bertrand holds an MBA from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She joined Construction S.R.B scc in 1984 where she held the positions of controller and general manager before obtaining the title of President in 1998. Construction S.R.B. scc is a company specialized in sawing and grinding concrete, whose innovation is at the heart of their activities. The company carries out work in Quebec, Ontario and the Maritime provinces. Construction S.R.B. scc has a division that exports concrete sawing equipment to the United States and Europe.
During her career, Ms. Bertrand has served on many boards of directors, including as chair of the board of directors of the Caisse Desjardins du Haut-Richelieu. She has been a member of the board of directors of the Commission de la construction du Québec since 2012. From 2009 to 2015, she sat on the Board of Directors of the ETS, during her term as Vice President of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee. In 2013, she became the first woman to head the Association de la construction du Québec, a position she held until 2017. She was appointed President of the Association des entrepreneurs en construction du Québec in June 2020 until February 7, 2023.
