From residual plastic recycling, to the manufacture of sustainable products for stormwater and geotextile management, to the innovation pole, Soleno has been a Canadian company since the beginning in 1977.

Over time, the company has made significant investments to ensure it can sustainably supply and provide the best solutions for its customers.

By forming a group of collaborative companies, we develop effective technical approaches and solutions while reducing environmental impacts.

McAdam, Nouveau-Brunswick

Soleno has been present in the Atlantic Provinces since 1995. The McAdam plant specializes in the manufacture of large diameter pipes.

Now counting on more than 35 employees (6 of whom have been employed since the opening 25 years ago), the plant allows supply for the Atlantic provinces.

Sainte-Madeleine, Québec

In 1999, Soleno established a steel pipe manufacturing plant in Ste-Madeleine, the hometown of the Poirier family.

Employing more than 20 workers, this plant mainly serves natural resource customers, who use HDPE and steel culverts for the construction of forest roads.

In 2022, the plant manufactured the largest-ever large-diameter pipe in the company’s history, over 22 meters. A feat that struck the company’s imagination.

Laval, Québec

Laval is the birthplace of our textile division, Soleno Textile. The business unit develops and manufactures non-woven textiles for geotechnical, acoustic, horticultural and industrial applications.

In January 2021, Soleno Textile announced the commissioning of a new production line that is now able to meet the growing demands in the field of non-woven textiles.

To add this new production line, the company reconfigured its Laval facility to add 15,000 square feet of production space.

Today, the company relies on the latest technology in Canada’s non-woven textile sector and is moving Soleno Textile into the age of Industry 4.0, a vision affirmed by the company.

Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec

Our residual plastics processing plant is located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

Our advanced residual plastic recycling plant employs cutting-edge technology to transform post-consumer and post-industrial plastic films and packaging, primarily from landfills, into high-quality resins that are then incorporated into various industrial processes.

Beyond its primary focus on recycling residual plastics, the facility also serves as an innovation pole and houses the company’s research and development center.

This industrial complex holds significant importance for Quebec, as it enables the province to establish itself as a frontrunner in recycling and the circular economy by fostering a local supply of reusable plastic materials.

Saint-Louis-de-Blandford, Québec

Our plant and distribution center in Saint-Louis-de-Blandford is a strategic location for the company in Quebec being located halfway between Montreal and Quebec City on Highway 20.

The plant has a large storage yard and operates several production lines in HDPE and accessories and now has dozens of employees.

Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec

Soleno Service inspects, maintains, certifies and merges storm, sanitary and unit water management systems.

Our expertise in rehabilitation allows us to intervene safely and ensure the efficiency of underground infrastructure.

Our team assists designers, network managers and contractors responsible for implementation. In compliance with current regulations, these services ensure the performance of the facilities and maximize their lifespan.

Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec

The company’s head office is located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, on the south shore of Montreal.

In addition to the corporate offices, the site has a factory with several production lines of our HDPE pipes and an accessory factory dedicated to the transformation of HDPE produc.

Completely renovated in 2019, the very modern corporate offices house a few hundred employees.

Cobourg, ON

In 2023, Soleno opened a new industrial site in Cobourg, Ontario.

With a view to developing the Ontario market, this new courtyard allows transfers and inventory to be grouped in the region, using its facilities. So it’s a strategic location for the company.

These new facilities will better serve the Ontario market, including HDPE, steel and geotextile pipelines.

Saint-Nicolas, Québec

Since 1997, Soleno has relied on a strategic location situated near Highway 20 on the outskirts of Quebec in Saint-Nicolas,QC.

Employing about ten employees, the site is today used as a storage site for our drains, accessories, conduits, and retention basin chambers, primarily serving the residential and ICI sectors.

Soleno has become a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of sustainable thermoplastic products for water management. By acquiring the world-renowned Krah technology, SOLENO USA, our american division, can now provide the most robust and tailor-made piping systems, KUSTOMFLO. With one of the largest diameters on the market, our KUSTOMFLO pipe has one-of-a-kind customization, resulting from an ADAPTIVE process that allows the optimization of the pipe profile to meet the specific needs of any project or applicable standard.

Saint-Henri, Quebec

Soleno acquires Plastiques VPC.

Soleno, a leader in the development of sustainable solutions for storm water management, is taking another step forward in the circular economy with the acquisition of Plastiques VPC, a young company specializing in the recovery of oil-contaminated plastics. In addition to offering a sustainable solution for companies needing to dispose of their oil-contaminated plastics, Soleno will offer a second life to these materials by integrating them into its manufacturing process for high density polyethylene pipes for storm water management.

Soleno has a distribution centre in Embrun, Ontario.

These facilities, located at a strategic location between Quebec and Ontario and near the US border, provide better service to the market, particularly with HDPE pipes, steel pipes and for the geotextile market.
