TX-80
Nonwoven needled geotextile, mainly used for civil engineering works
Made of polypropylene, TX-80 is mainly used for filtration and separation.
- Being thicker, it provides greater resistance to bursting and tearing than the TX-70 geotextile.
- Better permeability than woven geotextile due to its three-dimensional structure and its filtration openings.
- Installed around the net stone backfill in a foundation drain or drainage trench application.
- Used as a filtration and separation geotextile when applied between the clean stone and the ground in place in a retaining wall, embankments and berm application, or when applied as a filter around a percolation well.
Selection of the geotextile will be made according to the mechanical and hydraulic properties required.
