Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, October 24th, 2018 – Soleno, in collaboration with the Conseil Économique du Haut-Richelieu, is proud to announce the beginning this morning of the construction of its new offices. Mr. Alain Poirier, President of Soleno, accompanied by Mr. Alain Laplante, Mayor of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Ms. Judith-Ann Bélanger, vice president of business development at Proservin, as well as members of the Municipal Council and the Economic Council, proceeded to the symbolic groundbreaking to mark the beginning of work at the new Soleno headquarters lot.
The new two-story building, with a total area of approximately 14 250 square feet, will be built where trucks and equipment are currently stored.
This project represents an investment of $3 million and will create 8 new jobs.
This new space, with a large entrance hall, several conference rooms and a cafeteria, will host sixty people working in the finance department, human resources, engineering, sales, marketing, IT and general management. Employees will be moving in the new headquarters in June of 2019.
