Soleno Textile’s new production line will allow the company to meet the growing demands of the non-woven textile sector and to participate, if necessary, in the supply chain of protective uniforms for the health sector.
To add this new production line, Soleno Textile has reconfigured its Laval facilities to add 15,000 square feet of production space. The acquisition of this new equipment, one of the most modern in North America, represents an investment of over $8 million. The company can now count on the latest technology in the non-woven textile sector in Canada.
Since innovation, robotization and automation are at the heart of the company’s strategy, this project is perfectly in line with the continuous improvement process in place. This acquisition brings Soleno Textile’s plant into the Industry 4.0 era, a vision that the company has affirmed in recent years.
