Soleno designs, manufactures, and distributes high quality products to control and manage rainwater efficiently, ecologically, and sustainably. We operate several manufacturing and distribution facilities in Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes. We are looking for a Sales Manager for our Agricultural, Residential and Natural Resources market in Ontario.
In this new role, you will:
- Lead and ensure accountability with indirect team members (sales representative) to achieve consolidated short and long goals for the Ontario market.
- Produce and achieve the budget & forecasts for the Ontario region, monitor them and implement corrective measures, if necessary.
- Create & drive sales strategy for assigned and prospective dealer, contractors and customers (internal/external).
- Serve as a corporate representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows and exhibitions.
- Sets up and analyzes performance indicators for the sales team through optimization of our Salesforce CRM and proposes action plans to improve quality, cost of sales, sales cycle, customer experience, etc.
- Ensures regular monitoring of sales and the quality of the information recorded therein (internal management system, ERP, NAV, Salesforce).
- Ensure the updating of all revenue generation metrics (quotes, opportunities & pipeline).
- Develop sales strategies to maintain the competitiveness and innovation of the company in collaboration with the Sales Department.
- Participate in the preparation of the marketing plan, collaborate in the development of the action plan of the sales department.
- Set departmental and individual objectives according to corporate strategic orientations, determine action plans and ensure their deployment and monitoring.
- Establish human resources needs, to achieve the corporate strategy and ensure training is ongoing, pertinent and achieved by all direct reports.

Requirements:
- Bachelors’ Degree with at least five (5) years of experience in agricultural/retail field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in management approach by “coaching”.
- Must have the ability to travel at least 50%.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, CRM & ERP environments.
- Ability to make and assume decisions.
- Mobilizing and empowering leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Driving Licence (required)
