Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, April 23, 2019 – Soleno is proud to announce its commitment to achieve all requirements for obtaining the level 2. Performance ECORESPONSIBLE certification of the Sustainable Industries Council (CSI).
Since 2015, Soleno is part of the ECOLEADER industrial Quebec network, by obtaining level 1. Engagement ECORESPONSIBLE certification from the Council for sustainable industries (CSI). With its international scope, this program brings together a set of strategies and tools which aim to improve, in a comprehensive way, business management of the sustainable development. It consists of a four-level certification, an ECOLEADERSHIP methodology and two ecoresponsible attestations.
In 2018, Soleno obtained the ECORESPONSIBLE certification – Ecodesigned Product for two distinct lines of products. Developed in collaboration with Eco Entreprises Quebec and RECYC-QUEBEC, this program aims at recognizing the ecodesign approaches carried out by companies for the development, packaging and products manufacturing, as well as the environmental features of these packages and products. This improvement approach which aims at reducing the environmental footprint of a product, throughout its life cycle, integrates the following environmental criteria: reduction of virgin materials, optimal design, responsible supply chain and use of recycled material.
