Our sustainable solutions to preserve the surrounding environment
Forest road construction is one of the activities with the greatest negative impact on aquatic wildlife. Forest managers have to take into account issues arising out of their activities. Because forest management is a complex challenge, Soleno supports managers by offering a comprehensive line of sustainable solutions for mastering storm water in the rural, forestry and mining sectors.
The solutions and products Soleno offers allow optimal access to the forest and provide effective drainage to preserve forest roads and extend their lifespan. In line with the Sustainable Forest Management Regulation, Soleno also offers products that meet the regulation’s objectives.

RAUSIKKO : THE NEXT GENERATION OF GEOCELLULAR SYSTEM
Faced with growing constraints in stormwater management—limited space, sustainability goals, and tight deadlines—geocellular retention systems are rapidly gaining popularity. Their high retention capacity and ease of installation make them the solution of choice for many projects.
A new addition to Soleno’s product line, the RAUSIKKO range stands out for its sedimentation tunnels that capture sediment, limit basin contamination, and facilitate long-term maintenance—a distinct advantage over traditional retention systems.
Our Case Studies
A Pioneer in Canada
CSA-B182-8-R Certification by CSA
It is with great pride that we announce Soleno as the first to achieve CSA B182.8-R certification, audited by CSA in Canada. It formally recognizes our ability to create our resin composition for manufacturing our pipes from recycled material. Thanks to the CSA B182.8-R certification, all our CSA-certified products incorporate more than 75% and up to 100% recycled material, while meticulously adhering to finished product performance standards.
Our factories in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu and McAdam are involved in producing pipes certified to CSA B182.8-R standard, ensuring quality and durability
The circular economyy
A fully integrated Canadian model
Our model enables us to recycle over 150 million household plastic containers a year – the equivalent of 50 tonnes of plastic a day.
Once deposited in the bin, household containers are recycled into recycled plastic before being integrated into the manufacturing process of our products dedicated to stormwater management.
These products are then distributed and installed under our fields, roads and infrastructures across eastern North America.
