HDPE Manhole/Catch Basin Chimney Type
A custom HDPE access structure factory-welded onto a main pipe or fitting to reduce excavation, avoid oversizing and simplify installation.
Soleno’s manhole/catch basin chimney type is a custom HDPE access structure designed to be factory-welded directly onto a main pipe or manufactured fitting, such as an elbow or tee. This configuration makes it possible to add an access point to a storm sewer or stormwater retention system without oversizing the entire structure.
By integrating the chimney directly onto the pipe, this solution can reduce excavation, simplify installation and help optimize the overall cost of the system. It is especially relevant for conventional storm sewer networks, pipe retention systems and projects using Solflo Max or KUSTOMFLO pipes.
- Factory welding of a custom-made chimney with a smooth or corrugated exterior wall on a main pipe or a manufactured accessory (elbow, tee, etc.).
- The chimney diameter can be equal to or less than that the main pipe, which prevents oversizing it, reduces the amount of work during installation and at the same time, lowering the cost of the whole system.
- Flexible configuration that eliminates angle limitation constraints between connections.
- Lightweight HDPE structure that simplifies handling, installation and jobsite execution compared with traditional manholes.
- Smooth exterior chimney configuration eliminates the need for frost-resistant geocomposite in certain applications.
- Excellent resistance to de-icing salts, abrasives, chemicals, vibration and CL-625, H-25 and HS-25 loads.
- Compatible with adjustable frames and covers according to project requirements.
